Betty Ann (Russell) Jackson

Betty Ann Russell Jackson, age 85 of Clanton, passed away on April 14, 2018 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster. She was born in Bangor, Maine on June 14, 1932 the daughter of the late Melvin Russell and the late Lillian Goodine Russell.

She was retired from K-Mart.

She is survived by her children, Karen (Jerry) Elmore of Calera, Dale (Anita) Jackson of Clanton, Jackie Broughton of Atlanta, GA, Michael Jackson of Clanton, and David (Cedma) Jackson of Alabaster; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a special friend and sister, Dot Arthur of Clanton.

She is preceded in death by her husband, LT Jackson; Son, Larry T. Jackson; Grandsons, Wade Jackson and David Logan; Parents, Melvin and Lillian Russell; 4 sisters; and 2 brothers.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 at 2pm from the Victory Chapel Church in Clanton with Rev. Kaleb Elmore and Rev. Jerry Gray officiating.

Burial will follow in the Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Jemison.

The family will receive friends one our prior to the service on Friday at the church.
