Blake Hilyer

ASHLEY BLAKE HILYER, age 33 of Birmingham, passed away suddenly on December 30, 2017. He was born in Clanton, AL on June 15, 1984; the son of Donald Ricky Hilyer and the late Denise Gail Cleckler Thomas.

He was a former heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by: Daughter, Hannah Hilyer of Clanton; Son, Hayden Hilyer of Jemison; Daughter, Makenzie Hilyer of Hoover; Son, Tyler Hilyer of Clanton; Father, Rick Hilyer of Birmingham; Sister, Jada McDaniel of Birmingham; Brother, Donald Hilyer of Grand Rapids, MI; Fiancé, Ashley Dryden of Birmingham; and a host of other relatives.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Denise Cleckler Thomas.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Union Grove Community Cemetery in Jemison, AL.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made towards the funeral expenses at the funeral home.
