GENE ALLEN CROSBY, age 47 of Jemsion, passed away September 10, 2017 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. He was born on October 1, 1969 in Decatur, IL, son of Darryl Corsby and Donna J. Gaddis Crosby.
He was a roofer.
He is survived by his wife, Rachael Crosby; Children, Jacob (Katherine) Crosby, Josh Yelverton, Justin Crosby (Calli Sweeney), Lauren Crosby (Daniel Franks), and Jace Crosby; Grandchildren, Raelyn Crosby and Daniel Franks, Jr.; Father, Darryl Crosby; Mother, Donna Parker (Don Roper); and brothers, Jeremy (Shelia) Crosby and Darryl (Jana) Crosby.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 6:00pm from the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 5-6pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
