Mary Ella (Green) Coker

MARY ELLA GREEN COKER, age 85 of Calera, and formerly of Clanton, passed away on February 5, 2018 at her home. She was born on on May 13, 1932, daughter of the late Jeff Green and the late Pearl Clark Green.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Lewis Green of Calera, Diann Coker (Timothy) Lucas of Billingsley, James Coker of Calera, Wayne Coker of Hoover, Brenda Coker Ragsdale of Clanton, and Mary Coker Ragsdale of Clanton; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Coker; son, William Coker; and her parents, Jeff and Pearl Green.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 3:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Billy Boatwright officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lime Springs United Methodist Cemetery in Clanton.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
