Sally Jo Smith

SALLY JO SMITH, age 76 of Clanton, passed away on November 25, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Chilton County on July 8, 1941; the daughter of the late James H. Smith and the late Alice Mae Bates Smith.
She was a former caretaker.
She is survived by: Son, Steve Yeargan of Clanton; Daughter, Trish (Donald) Blackmon of Clanton; Son, Greg (Crystal) Yeargan of Clanton; 6 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Peggy (Harold) Nelson of Clanton; and Sister, Jeannie (Bobby) Mims of Verbena.
She is preceded in death by: Granddaughter, Brook Yeargan; and Parents, James and Alice Mae Smith.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 3:00pm from the Chestnut Creek Heritage Chapel with Rev. David Warren and Rev. Harold Nelson officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
