Sondra Janette (Preston) Lawley

MRS. SONDRA JANETTE PRESTON LAWLEY, age 83 of Randolph departed this side of eternity on December 23, 2017 at her residence.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Leland “Stan” Lawley; Sons, Charles “Mickey” Craney, Julius “Bud” Huffman, Jr., and Michael “Mike” Lawley; Daughters, Tracy Keeling and Angela Huffman Staruska; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Brothers, Otis Henry Preston and Patrick Preston; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Otis Howard Preston and Martha Leona “Big Mom” Preston; and siblings, Larry B. Preston, Michael W. Preston, Coye Geneva Whitmire, and Fannie Sue Whitten.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 2:00pm from the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Philip Trawick and Rev. Ronnie Wead officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
