TIMOTHY RENE MIMS, age 52 of Clanton, passed away on July 11, 2017 at his residence. He was born on October 1, 1964 in Alabama; the son of the late Kenneth Preston Mims and Eudora Hughes Mims.
He is survived by: Son, Timothy Mims II of Clanton; Step-Sons: Migil Cargill, Brandon Cargill, and TJ Kelly; Mother, Eudora Pastirak of Clanton; Brothers: Kenneth Mims, Jonathan Mims, and James Mims all of Clanton; Sister, Virginia Mims of High Bridge, NJ; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by: Wife, Jean Mims; and Father, Kenneth Preston Mims.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Bill King officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Mt. Springs Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
The family request no flowers, but encourage donations towards the funeral expenses at the funeral home or through the funeral home website.
