Walter Eugene Perkins

WALTER EUGENE PERKINS, age 80 of Jemison, passed away on September 14, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Marengo County, AL on August 20, 1937; the son of the late Walter L. Perkins and the late Sadie E. Etheredge Perkins.

He retired from Winn Dixie and Southeast Grocers where he worked as scanning coordinator.

He is survived by: Wife, Veronica Perkins of Jemison; Son, Mark (Kellie) Perkins of Deatsville; Son, Kerry (Lori) Perkins of Deatsville; Grandchildren: Justin, Morgan, Hillary, and Emily; 1 Great Grandchild; and Brother, Ralph (Annita) Perkins of Dixon Mills.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 11am until 12pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

There will be no funeral service.

Burial will take place in the Cobb Confederate Cemetery in Jemison, AL.

Final care and arrangements entrusted to the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home of Clanton.
