Elsie Mae (Oliver) Loveless

ELSIE MAE (OLIVER) LOVELESS, age 89 of Calera, passed away on April 17, 2024 in Calera, AL. She was born in Vincent, Alabama on July 17, 1934; the daughter of the late Roy Oliver and the late Gladys Walton Oliver.

She was a former supervisor with Bellsouth and later owned her own antique shop. Elsie loved animals and always said “God put animals in this world to see how we treat them.”

She is survived by: Daughter, Lauriann Loveless of Calera; Grandchildren: Christy, Robert (Cat), and Karman (Chris); /great Grandchildren: Meagan, Riley, Gage, Cole, Zoey, Max, Indie Ray, Little Gage, Hazen, Brandon (Devin), Bree (Christopher, Shawn (Kayla), Andrew (Heather), and Eli; Great-Great Grandchildren: Constance, Coleman, Violet, Ollie, and Scarlet; Nephew, Timothy Trobaugh; and her beloved dog, Shelby.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, Robert Wesley “Bob” Loveless, Sr.; Son, Robert Wesley Loveless, Jr.; Parents, Roy and Gladys Oliver; and sister, Joyce Trobaugh.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 1:00pm from the Shelby Memory Gardens Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Calera, AL with Rev. Tony McDonald officiating.

Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service.

Entombment will follow in the Community Mausoleum of Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Hoover, AL.
