Agnes Lorene (Ellison) Clark

AGNES LORENE ELLISON CLARK, age 87 of Clanton, passed away on August 20, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Talladega County on October 27, 1931; the daughter of the late Jesse James Ellison and the late Rebecca Elender Johns Ellison.

She was the former lunchroom manager at Thorsby High School. She was a faithful servant of her Lord Jesus Christ and was devoted to her family.

She is survived by: Husband, Carlton Clark of Clanton; Daughter, Lorene Porter of Clanton; Daughter, Delene Baker of Clanton; Grandchildren: Timothy Porter, Karen Porter, Sherry Daugherty, and Christy Bouldin; 8 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great Grandchildren; and Sister, Frances Mims of Mobile.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and; First Husband, Alton Grady Jones; Granddaughter, Tammy Baker Lockhart; Sister, Viola Jacks; Brother, James Browning; Sister, Katherine Edwards; Sister, Elminey Weldon; and Brother, David Ellison.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 5-7pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.

Burial will follow in the New Harmony Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
