Audrey Lou (Hood) Beiro

AUDREY LOU (HOOD) BEIRO, age 93 of Calera, passed away on November 18, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Marion, AL on September 22, 1926; the daughter of the late William Harrison Hood and the late Kitty Mae Colburn Hood.

Audrey retired from Calera High School where she served as bookkeeper and registrar from 1970 until 1994. She was also a faithful member of Asby Baptist Church for over 20 years.

She is survived by: Daughter, Patricia Beiro of Calera; Son, Harrison (Beckie) Beiro of Louisville, KY; Son, Tim Beiro of Calera; Grandchild, Kristy (Andrew) Holowiecki of Abilene, TX; Grandchild, Miranda Warner of Louisville, KY; Great Grandchildren: Lillyann Holowiecki, Georgia Holowiecki, and Henry Holowiecki all of Abilene, TX; Brother, Willard G. Hood of Anderson; Brother, Elson Ray (Sharon) Hood of Brierfield; Brother, Elroe Hood of Brierfield; and Sister, Grace (Ralph) Hansen of Wetumpka.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, Henry Beiro.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 11:00am from Ashby Baptist Church with Rev. Shannon Allen officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church.

Burial will follow in the Ashby Baptist Cemetery in Brierfield, AL.

The family request no flowers, but encourage donations to Encompass Hospice in Alabaster, AL.

Final care and arrangements entrusted to the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, AL.
