Betty D. (Martin) Crowson

BETTY MARTIN CROWSON, age 85 of Calera, passed away on December 7, 2017 at her residence. She was born on February 27, 1932, daughter of the late W.E. Martin and the late Hazel Lucille Glass Martin.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Gary (Elizabeth) Crowson of Wilsonville, Wayne (Debbie) Crowson of Calera, and Joan Crowson Gilreath of Calera; 8 Grandchildren; 14 Great-grandchildren; and 3 Great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 2:00pm from the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home at Shelby Memory Gardens Chapel in Calera with Rev. Hal Warren officiating.

Burial will follow in the Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera.

Active pallbearers will be Joshua Gilreath, Daniel Karr, Tim Crowson, Dewayne Osburn, Eddie Crowson, and Garth Osburn.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Sunday at the funeral home.
