Dolores "Dee" Grace (Pitts) Roper

DOLORES GRACE “DEE” ROPER, age 66 of Jemison, passed away on April 20, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Alabama on July 30, 1951; the daughter of the late Roland Sterling Pitts and the late Hazel Mae Corley Pitts.

She was a former school bus driver for the Chilton County School System.

She is survived by: Husband, Gary L. Roper of Jemison; Daughter, Jennifer Leah Williams of Concord; Daughter, Tina Marie Ridings of Concord; Son, John Michael Pardo of Plainfield, IL; Granddaughter, McKenzie Grace Lawley of Concord; Grandson, Landon Terry Williams of Concord; and Brother, Terry L. Pitts of Birmingport.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 4:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
