EARL KENNETH “KENNY” MINOR, JR., age 55 of Clanton, passed away on May 21, 2019. He was born in Montgomery, Alabama on May 5, 1964; the son of the late Earl Kenneth Minor, Sr. and the late Mary Nell Minor.
He was a foreman with Asplundh Tree Experts. Kenny was an avid NASCAR fan and loved Alabama Football. He will be remembered for his love for his family and friends.
He is survived by: Wife, Sheila Minor of Clanton; Daughter, Kayla (Allie) Honeycutt of Clanton; Daughter, Brandi (Norman) Simmons of Lapine; Granddaughters, Dakota and Karlie Simmons of Lapine; Sister, Regina Hann of Clanton; Sister, Sabrena Minor of Clanton; Mother-in-Law, Linda Sansom of Clanton; and Brother-in-Laws, Jason and Joey Sansom of Clanton.
He is preceded in death by: Father, Earl K. Minor; Mother, Mary Nell Minor; and Brother, Greg Minor.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 5:00pm - until at Glad Tidings Church of God after 5:00pm.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Glad Tidings Church of God with Rev. Mike Chandler and Rev. Steven Wallace officiating.
Burial will follow in the Glad Tidings Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
