Evelyn Gladys (Creel) Barefield

EVELYN GLADYS CREEL BAREFIELD, age 73 of Calera, passed away on February 17, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Shelby County on February 3, 1945; the daughter of the late William Edward Creel and the late Gladys Cannady Cost.

She was a former lunchroom lady at Calera High School and Valleydale Baptist School.

She is survived by: Husband, Truman Barefield of Calera; Son, Curtis (Kym) Barefield of Calera; Son, Randy (Tammy) Barefield of Calera; Son, Wayne (Diana) Barefield of Shelby; 9 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Kenny (Debbie) Cost of Calera; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 5-7pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home at Shelby Memory Gardens with Rev. Wayne Graves officiating.

Burial will follow in the Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, AL.
