Evelyn Marie (Green) Ray

EVELYN MARIE GREEN RAY, age 74 of Maplesville passed away on October 9, 2018 at her home. She was born on October 10, 1943; the daughter of the late Grady Green and the late Lillian Burt Green.

She was a former owner/operator of many different things including a trucking business, restaurant, and many other businesses.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Carter of Maplesville, Lynn Threadgill of Maplesville, Kenny Ray of Maplesville, Jan (Ed) Clapp of Clanton, David (Audrey) Ray of Maplesville, and Greg (Jennifer) Ray of Maplesville; 19 Grandchildren; 17 Great-Grandchildren; and Siblings, Herbert (Louise) Green of Maplesville, Bob (Eva) Green of Maplesville, Ted Green of Maplesville, Jerry (Leita Ann) Green of Maplesville, Hazel (Lee) Butler of Clanton, and Helen (Hayward) Carter of Maplesville.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Ferrell Ray; Parents, Grady and Lillian Green; and Siblings, Marvin Green, Goodlowe Green, and Bill Green. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 7:00 pm from the Vermont Holiness Church in Maplesville with Rev. Joey Green officiating 

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 12, 2018 at the church from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11:00 am at Greenwood Cemetery in Camden
