Frances Kay (Crisson) Dawkins

FRANCES KAY DAWKINS, age 78 of Montevallo, passed away on August 22, 2019 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. She was born in Jefferson County on October 7, 1940; the daughter of the late Cecil Compton Crisson and the late Ruby Lucille McGraw Crisson.

She was a former retail clerk.

She is survived by: Daughter, Janice Lacey of Alabaster; Son, Keith Grimes of Pea Ridge; Grandchild, Daryl (Adam) Flanagan of Birmingham; Grandchild, Joshua Lacey of Nashville, TN; Great Grandchild, James Flanagan IV of Birmingham; Sister, Vicki Pilgreen of Birmingham; Sister, Emily Brown of Fultondale; Sister, Debbie Ellis of Fultondale; Brother, Bob Crisson of Boaz; and Brother, Dwight Crisson of Birmingham.

She is preceded in death by: Son, Kevin Grimes; and Parents, Cecil and Lucille Crisson.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
