Harold "Hal" Frank Rice

HAROLD “HAL” FRANK RICE, age 62 of Jemison, AL, passed away on March 19, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Columbus, OH on August 16, 1955; the son of Walter Arnold Rice and the late Anna Marie Becker Rice.

Hal worked for Batesville Casket Company. He was a former distribution center manager. He worked at locations in Ohio, Alabama, and Florida.

He is survived by: Daughter, Randi (Michael) Jones of Jemison; Son, Rex (Madison) Rice of Clanton; Grandchildren: Kain Jones, Kallah Jones, Zoey Rice, and Rhett Rice; Father, Arnold Rice of Columbus, OH; Former Spouse, Susan Scheirer of New Lexington, OH; Close Friend, Dakota Foster of McCalla; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Ann Rice.

Hal’s request was to be cremated. The family will hold a memorial service at a later time in Ohio.
