Helen Louise (Hearn) Howell

HELEN LOUISE HOWELL, age 93 of Hoover, passed away on November 18, 2017 at St. Vincent’s Chilton Hospital in Clanton, AL. She was born in Henderson, TN on April 13, 1924; the daughter of the late Bud Hearn and the late Lillie Essary Hearn.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by: Son, Danny W. (Judy) Howell of Hoover; Grandchild, Connie (Eddie) Cole of Alabaster; Grandchild, Tina (Brian) Parker of Alabaster; Grandchild, Danny Howell, Jr. of Hoover; Great Grandchildren: Angela (Justin) Spears of Alabaster, Krystal Parker of Tampa, FL, Carrie Cole (Josey) Wells of Alabaster, Makayla (Dalton) Perrero of Dora, and Danielle Howell of Hoover; and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, Conard Howell; and Great Granddaughter, Holly Frye.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera with Bro. Chris Gray officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL.

The family would like to thank the staff of Southern Care Hospice in Clanton and the staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital in Clanton for their loving care and compassion.
