HENRY THOMAS TURNER, age 67 of Pelham, passed away on December 1, 2017 at his residence after a extended battle with cancer. He was born on July 12, 1950 in Autauga County, AL; the son of the late Joseph Henry Turner and the late Mary Lois Dunlap Turner.

Henry attended Billingsley High School where he excelled in sports at a young age. He went on to establish a great work ethic. He was the owner of Dalton Carpet and Wilco Lighting in Prattville for over 25 years.

Henry was a passionate golfer who won many golf tournaments. Over the last 12 years, he played at Timberline Golf Club in Calera, AL. There he loved his golf buddies, friends, and staff alike.

Henry was privileged to spend the last two and a half years “spreading seeds” for the Lord.

Henry was also an animal lover. Most of all, he was a wonderful, devoted, and protective husband; a loving father and Papa to his grandchildren. He had a great love for his sister, brother-in-law, and nephew. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by: Wife, Dawn R. Turner of Pelham; Daughter, Krystal (Natalie) Turner of Atlanta; Son, Phillip (Alison) Turner of Huntsville; Step-Son, Carson Rockett of Pelham; Step-Son, Casey (Jill) Rockett of Margaret; Grandchildren: Alyssa Turner, Ryan Turner, Grayson Turner, Salem Turner, A.C.
