JAMES CARLTON “TREY” MIDDLEBROOKS III, age 35 of Maylene, passed away suddenly on June 17, 2019 in Shelby County. He was born in Homewood, AL on July 27, 1983; the son of James C. Middlebrooks Jr. and Mary-Beth Middlebrooks.
He was a former automobile salesman. Trey will be remembered for having a big heart. He loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He was especially fond of bow hunting.
He is survived by: Son, Hayden Middlebrooks of Montevallo; Father, Jimmy Middlebrooks of Maylene; Mother, Mary-Beth Middlebrooks of Maylene; Sister, Elizabeth (Chip) Williams of Montevallo; Brother, Louis (Deidre) Middlebrooks of Calera; Grandmother, Becky Middlebrooks of Hoover; Aunt, Lynn (Chet) Knippers of Hoover; Aunt, Donna (Kenny) Barclay of McCalla; and Niece and Nephews: Abbey, Brooks, Wilson, and Lance.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera with Rev. Brook Lovette and Bro. Dennis Mitchell officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in the Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, AL.
