Jerry Winston Easterling

JERRY WINSTON EASTERLING, age 58 of Verbena, passed away on December 30, 2018 at his residence after a 14-month battle with brain cancer. He was born in Chilton County on July 11, 1960; the son of Velma Cleckler Easterling and the late Joseph Winston Easterling.

He was a former assembly tech.

He is survived by: Wife, Donna Easterling of Verbena; Step-Daughter, Amanda “Tornado” Wilson (Joshua) McCrory of Verbena; Son, Wesley Easterling of Montevallo; Son, Waythan (Jessica) Easterling of Georgia; Grandchildren: Alexis Hubbard, Brylie Hubbard, Dale Hubbard, Waythan Easterling, and Phillip Easterling; Mother, Velma “Bugg” Easterling of Verbena; Brother, Edwin (Charlotte) Easterling of Clanton; Mother-in-Law, Virginia Crawford of Verbena; Brother-in-Laws: Frankie (Sue) Crawford of Verbena, Jeff Crawford of Verbena, and Benjie (Angie) Crawford of Verbena; Sister-in-Laws, Darlene (Perry) Edwards of Verbena and Robin Crawford of Clanton; Best Friend, Michael McGuire of Clanton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by: Father, Winston Easterling; Sister, Debbie Hand; Step-Father, Cecil Mims; Father-in-Law, Freddie Crawford; and Brother-in-Law, Robbie Crawford.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 5-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. David Littleton officiating.

Burial will follow in the Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
