Jerry Arnold Hicks

JERRY ARNOLD HICKS, age 75 of the Union Grove Community in Jemison, passed away suddenly on January 19, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Chilton County on July 24, 1942; the son of the late Ervin H. Hicks and the late Aileen Davis Hicks.

He was a former carpenter.

He is survived by: Son, Dwayne Hicks of Jemison, Grandson, Adam Hicks of Jemison; Grandson, Cheyenne Layton of Jemison; Sister, Betty Ellison of Jemison; Brother, James Hicks of Jemison; and Sister, Patsy Hicks of Oxford.

He is preceded in death by: Wife, Donna Mae Hicks; Daughter, Sherri Lynn Hicks; Parents, Ervin and Aileen Hicks; and Brother, Danny Hicks.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 from 5-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 10:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.

Burial will follow in the Union Grove Community Cemetery in Jemison, AL.
