John Thomas Hicks, Jr., age 57 of Clanton, passed away on December 6, 2018 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster. He was born in Alabama on May 1, 1961 to the late John Thomas Hicks, Sr. and the late Geraldine Ratliff Hicks.

He was a construction worker.

He is survived by his sisters, Diane (William J.) Elliott of Pinson and Paula Elliott of Jemison; Brother, Joe Hicks of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas, Sr. and Geraldine Hicks.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home of Clanton.
