Myra Gingo Obituary
MYRA JO GINGO, age 85 of Columbiana, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2018 at Columbiana Health and Rehab. She was born in Alabama on October 19, 1933 to the the late Oscar Pickett and the late Myrtle Stansel Pickett.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her Daughter, Denise Goodfellow of Calera; Daughter, Donna Lombard of Austin, TX; Daughter, Cherrie Niven of Helena; Step-daughter, Deborah Caver of Birmingham; 22 Grandchildren; and 44 Great-Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, McRay Gingo; Son, James Gingo; Daughter, Cissy Douglas; Step-daughter, Sherrie Aldrich; and parents, Oscar and Myrtle Pickett.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home at Shelby Memory Gardens with Rev. Ben Shanahan officiating.
The family will receive friends on hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at the Ryans Crossing Cemetery in Montevallo.
Final care and arrangements entrusted to the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera.
