NANCY MARIE JONES RAY, age 49 of Alabaster, passed away on November 10, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Clanton, AL on August 23, 1968; the daughter of the late Joe Earl Jones, Sr. and the late Patricia Hammock Cleckley.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by: Daughter, Latasha Ray of Columbiana; Son, Raymond “Buddy” Ray, Jr. of Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania; 6 Grandchildren; Brothers, Skeet Cleckley of Maplesville and Joe Earl Jones, Jr. of TN; Sisters: Joyce Whitman of Clanton, B.J. Cleckley of Maplesville, Glenda Cleckley of Thomasville, NC, Pam Johnson of Clanton, Polly Ray of Clanton, Lou Ann Barnett of Calera; Bonnie Sue Rhodes of Clanton, and Terri Lynn Coker of Jasper; and a Special Friend of 16 years, William Johnson, Jr. of Alabaster.
A visitation only will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017 from 6-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.
The family request no flowers, please contribute towards the funeral expense via the funeral home website.
