Phyllis Tennyson Jones, age 71 of Verbena, passed away on November 7, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Illinois on April 2, 1947.

She was a former LPN.

She is survived by her children, Marla (Steve) Sarna, Sherry Jones, Sandy (Ricky Wells) Hilyer; Grandchildren, Brittany (Matthew) Jones, Allison Ludolf, David Ludolf, Chance (Shelby) Wells, Dykota Wells, and Savannah (Byron) Randall; Great-grandchildren, Giovonni Wells, Christopher Oaks, Zayen Wells, Jackson Jones, Emily Jones, Anna Jones, and Colton Wells; Mother, Mildred Tittle; and Siblings, Merritt (Anita) Mills and Carol (Dennis) Hill.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Buford Jones.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.

Burial will follow in the Chestnut Creek Cemetery in Verbena.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
