Shirley Faye Davenport

SHIRLEY FAYE DAVENPORT, age 80 of Jemison, passed away on July 16, 2018 in Las Vegas, NV. She was born in Thorsby on March 24, 1938; the daughter of the late James Edward Davenport and the late Pearlie Dutton Davenport.

She was a registered dietician with Hatley Healthcare in Clanton for many years.

She is survived by: Son, David (Sheila) Davenport of Jemison; Grandson, Lavett Davenport of Las Vegas, NV; Granddaughter, Joy (Trent) Hilton of Las Vegas, NV; Great Grandchildren: Blake Davenport, Ayden Collum, Ariel Collum, and Colton Hilton; and a Brother, James Earl Davenport.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, James F. Davenport; and Brother, Stevie Davenport.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 6-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 11:00am from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church No. 1 with Rev. Billy Wyatt officiating.

The body will be in state one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist No. 1 Cemetery in Jemison, AL.
