TAYLOR LYNN BENSON, age 23 of Atlanta, GA, passed away on September 26, 2018 in Sandy Springs, GA. She was born in Birmingham, AL on October 24, 1994; the daughter of Stephen Doran Benson and Torey Newland Benson.
Taylor was a student at the University of West Georgia, where she was studying speech pathology.
She is survived by: Father, Stephen Benson of Jemison; Mother, Torey Benson of Jemison; Brother, Trent Newland Benson of Pelham; Grandmother, Sara Benson of Jemison; Grandmother, Carol Newland of Jacksonville, AL.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by: Grandfather, Jimmy Benson; and Grandfather, George Newland.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 2:00pm from the Thorsby First Baptist Church with Rev. Marc Hodges officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
