Travis Ray

TRAVIS RAY, age 48 of Jemison, passed away suddenly on March 4, 2018 at St. Vincent Chilton in Clanton. He was born in Clanton on June 27, 1969; the son of the late Johnny B. Ray and the late Mamie Inez Fowler Ray.

He was a former agriculture laborer.

He is survived by: Wife, Deborah Ray of Jemison; Sister, Gladys Langston of Clanton; Sister, Sue (Mike) Clark of Clanton; Brother, Edward Ray; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by: Father, Johnny Ray; Mother, Mamie Ray; and Brother, Jerry Ray.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Douglas Scott officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Posey Cemetery in Jemison, AL.

The family request no flowers, but encourage donations be made towards the funeral expense at the funeral home or through the funeral home’s website.
