Valerie Nicole (Hatchett) Rollan

VALERIE NICOLE HATCHETT ROLLAN, age 44 of Thorsby, passed away on November 21, 2017 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She was born on March 28, 1973 in Baldwin County, AL; the daughter of Rick and Rena Hatchett.
Valerie was a traveling registered nurse. She was currently employed at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. She had previously worked at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Brookwood Medical Center, Baptist South Hospital, Prattville Baptist Medical Center, and Jackson Hospital. She also previously served as the nurse for the Montgomery County and Montgomery City Jails.
She is survived by: Husband, Robert Rollan of Thorsby; Son, Jacob Rollan of Thorsby, Son, Chase Rollan of Thorsby; Parents, Rick and Rena Hatchett of Thorsby; Brother, Wade of Gardendale; Sister, Elizabeth LaRocca of Jemison; Brother, Jamey Hatchett of Thorsby; and Brother, Jeremy Hatchett of Thorsby.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Matt DeBord officiating.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.
Burial will follow in the Thorsby Memorial Cemetery in Thorsby, AL.
