Vester "Junior" JR Robinson

VESTER JR “JUNIOR” ROBINSON, age 78 of Jemison, passed away on January 19, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Chilton County on December 7, 1939; the son of the late Sylvester Robinson and the late Lucille Porter Robinson.

He was a former drywall and ceiling man.

He is survived by: Daughter, Freda (Kenny) Spearman of Jemison; Daughter, Connie (Richard) Gentry of Jemison; Grandchildren: Madison (Justin) Anderson of Jemison, Maverick Gentry of Jemison, Crissy (Andrew) Smith of Clanton, Nick (Chantal) Spearman of Clanton, and Valerie (Curt) Groom of Jemison; Great Grandchildren: Zoe Smith, Isaac Smith, Layla Spearman, Mason Poe, and Kristopher Groom; Brother, Jerry “Frankie” Robinson of Jemison; and Brother, Terry (Lynn) Robinson of Jemison.

He is preceded in death by: Wife, Carol Robinson; Daughter, Cindy Robinson; Great Grandson, Gunner Smith; Parents, Sylvester and Lucille Robinson; and Brother, Marvin Robinson.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 3:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Billy Wyatt officiating.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery in Thorsby, AL.
