WILLIAM JUNIOR “TARZAN” RELIFORD, age 49 of Thorsby, passed away on December 1, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Chilton County on June 20, 1970.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and pawpaw to his grandchildren who he absolutely loved.
He was a former volunteer firefighter with Jemison and Thorsby Fire Departments. He was also a former reserve officer with the Jemison Police Department. He was well known throughout the community, where he will be remembered as a hard worker who would help anyone. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by: Wife, Paula Reliford of Thorsby; Daughter, Angela Lawley of Birmingham; Daughter, Virginia (Francisco) Alcerro of Jemison; Daughter, Tiffany Lawley of Randolph; Daughter, Cortney Reliford of Thorsby; Grandchildren: Isabella Lawley, Alyssa Lawley, Jesslynn Lawley, and Layla Alcerro Lawley; Mother, Margie Reliford McDuffie of Mobile; Sister, Brandy (Andriaan) Van’t Hof of Clanton; Aunt, Mickie Reliford Baker of Jemison; Aunt, Annette (Johnny) Nancy of Verbena; Mother-in-Law, Martha Lawley of Jemison; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: Son, Dereck Reliford; and Father, Junior Reliford.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 11:00am from Thompson Chapel Assembly of God with Rev. Mark Bolton officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will follow in the Thorsby Memorial Cemetery in Thorsby, AL.
