YVONNE LAWLEY BOWMAN, age 69 of Clanton, passed away on October 21, 2019 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. She was born in Shelby County, AL on January 27, 1950; the daughter of the late Jack Lawley and the late Maudle Anderson Lawley.
She formerly worked at Jacks in north Clanton. She was an award-winning biscuit maker, going on to win the Jacks company biscuit making contest several years ago.
She is survived by: Husband, Michael Bowman of Clanton; Son, Joey (Cassie) Morrison of Maplesville; Brothers: Mack Lawley of Clanton, Teddy Lawley of Prattville, Chris Lawley of Clanton, Frankie Lawley of Jemison, Roger Lawley of Clanton, and Ricky Lawley of Clanton; Sisters, Dorothy Taylor and Becky Vines both of Clanton; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She is preceded in death by: Parents, Jack and Maudle Lawley; Brothers: Kenneth Lawley, Larry Lawley, and Ronald Lawley; and Sister, Glenda Caton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 6-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:30am in the Verbena Cemetery in Verbena, AL with Rev. Wendell Kelley officiating.
