AGNES DELENE (JONES) BAKER, age 70 of Clanton, passed away on January 15, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Chilton County on July 27, 1950; the daughter of the late Alton G. Jones and the late Agnes L. Ellison Jones-Clark.
She was a former special education bus driver and aid with the Chilton County Board of Education with her years of service at Clanton Elementary School.
She is survived by: Husband, Charles Wayne Baker of Clanton; Daughter, Sherry Daugherty of Clanton; Daughter, Christy Bouldin of Clanton; 6 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; and Sister, Lorene Porter of Clanton.
She is preceded in death by: Daughter, Tammy Lockhart; Father, Alton Jones; and Mother, Agnes Jones-Clark.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 11:00am in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton, AL with Rev. Donnie Messer officiating.
The family encourages the use of facial coverings and social distancing guidelines for the service due to the current pandemic.
