Alvis (Lawrence) Adair

ALVIS (LAWRENCE) ADAIR, age 92 of Randolph passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on September 26, 2024. She was born on January 7, 1932 in Chilton County, Alabama daughter of the late A.J. Lawrence and the late Cordelia Lawrence.

She was a homemaker.

Alvis is survived by her Sons, Finn "Marty" Smith, Michael Smith, Harland Smith; Daughters, Brenda Bond, Barbara Jones, Tieah Roberts; Grandchildren, Dewayne Smith (Charla), Shayne Smith (Wendy), Amanda Weed (Edward), David Bond, Beverly Bond, Adam Bond, and Audra Jones. 

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Robert Smith; Son, Angelo Lawrence; Daughter, Betty Martin; Brother, Alton Lawrence; and Sister, Bobby Jean Lawley.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church No. 2 Cemetery with Dr. J. Edward Weed III officiating.
