Amy Allemand Obituary

AMY BETH ALLEMAND, age 44, a native of Houma, Louisiana, and a longtime resident of Jemison, Alabama, passed away suddenly on November 13, 2025.

Born in Thibodaux, Louisiana, on March 5, 1981, Amy was the daughter of Greg and Phyllis Allemand. Deeply connected to her Louisiana roots, she cherished its traditions, culture, and people. She enjoyed fishing on quiet days, savoring seafood boils with loved ones, taking in the sights and sounds of Mardi Gras, and cheering passionately for LSU football. Amy also loved traveling to the beach and going on long drives with her beloved canine companion, Bentley, who was always perched on her shoulder, ears in the wind. Above all else, Amy treasured her family and the time they shared together.

Amy is survived by her son, Bronson Allemand; her parents, Greg Allemand and Phyllis Allemand; her brother, Blake (Krystle) Allemand; her sister, Brandy Allemand; her grandmother, Sarah Bolling; her uncle, Frank (Lesa) Bolling; Pennie (Randy) Broussard; her aunt, Stephanie Bolling; her uncle, Craig (Cassie) Bolling; her aunt, LuAnn (Pat) Vaith; her aunt, Rachel Allemand; her aunt, Nina (Jody) Theriot; her uncle, Micky Allemand; her uncle, Andre (Katherine) Allemand; her aunt, Kristi (Chris) Matherne; her niece, Ava Burkely Allemand; nephew, Brayden Brantley; niece, Destiny Fox; nephew, Ashton Fox; and numerous cousins and extended family members whom she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Clarence Bolling Jr. and Norman Allemand, and her grandmother, Marla Allemand.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Jemison First Baptist Church, with Rev. Daniel Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Amy will be remembered for her warm heart, her unwavering love for her family, and her joyful spirit that brightened every gathering. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
