Angela Rena (Fowler) Deceano-Cruz

ANGELA RENA DECEANO-CRUZ passed away suddenly on May 20, 2025, at her home in Jemison, Alabama. Born on August 15, 1963, in Texarkana, Arkansas, she was the beloved daughter of Jerry Lynn Fowler and Mettie Cathalene Smith Fowler.

Angela had a heart that radiated love and warmth to everyone she met. Known for her kindness, thoughtfulness, and gentle spirit, she never let a birthday or anniversary go unremembered—always reaching out with a card or a message to let others know they were in her thoughts. She cherished the comfort of her home and took great pride in caring for it. Among her greatest joys in life were caring for her parents and spending precious time with her adored grandson, Lucas.

She is survived by her loving husband, Juan Deceano-Cruz of Jemison; her children, Sean Tyree, Samuel Tyree, and Allison Tyree, all of Nashville; her grandson, Lucas Paulson of Nashville; her parents, Jerry and Mettie Fowler; her sister, Kim (Oscar) Saldiver of Nashville; and her nephew, Wade Pearson of Nashville.

Angela's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

The family will gather for a service at a later date to celebrate her life.
