ANGELA ROSE (CLECKLER) HESTER, age 52 of Clanton, passed away on April 25, 2021 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She was born in Clanton, AL on March 1, 1969; the daughter of the late Virgil Henry Cleckler and the late Helen Catherine Gray Cleckler.
She was a former forklift operator with Georgia Pacific, and later was a sandwich artist at the Clanton Subway at Exit 212. Angie was a happy person who loved everyone she encountered. She was always willing to go above and beyond to help anyone that she could.
She is survived by: Daughter, Stephanie Hester; Son, David Joe Hester; Grandchildren: Trevor David Hester, Carter Grayson Hester, and Colson Jayce Ray; Special Friends, Justin Lucas and Cortney Pressley all of Clanton.
She is preceded in death by: Husband, Charles David Hester; Parents, Virgil and Helen Cleckler; Brother, Buddy Gray; Brother, Terry Cleckler; and Brother, Joseph Cleckler.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Ernest Fike officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in the Bethany Baptist Cemetery in Verbena, AL.
