Aubrey Dean Cost

AUBREY DEAN COST, age 73 of Jemison, passed away on August 12, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Chilton County on December 5, 1950; the son of the late Lonnie Cost and the late Maudie Ellison Cost.

He was a carpenter by trade. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Aubrey Dean loved the outdoors where he spent countless times fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed visiting friends and neighbors and talking and socializing with those he came in contact with.

He is survived by: Wife, Patsy Cost of Jemison; Son, Clint Cost of Jemison; Son, Jessie Lewis of Montevallo; Daughter, Tina Lewis of Clanton; Daughter, Cindy Mallory of Clanton; 7 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Lorene Lowery of Jemison; Sister, Debra Davis of Clanton; Brother, Robert “Bob” Cost of Clanton; and Brother, John Cost of Clanton.

He is preceded in death by: Parents, Lonnie and Maude Cost; Brother, Gerald “Buck” Cost; and Sister, Helen Campbell.

The family will have a receiving of friends on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 6-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.
