AYDEN JAI FERNANDES, age 13, of Clanton, passed away suddenly on December 23, 2021 as the result of an ATV accident. He was born in Poplar Bluff, MO on September 5, 2008; the son of Ian Francis Fernandes and Stephanie Elaine Woodham.
Ayden was a 7th grade student at Clanton Middle School where he enjoyed playing football and hanging out with his friends. Outside of school, he enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. He was active in NXG MMA, and enjoyed playing Dizzy Dean Baseball in the summer. He was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Clanton.
He is survived by: Father, Ian Fernandes of Clanton; Mother, Amy Haw of Clanton; Birth Mother, Stephanie Woodham of Malden, MO; Sister, Ianna Fernandes of Malden, MO; Brother, Joey Haw of Dexter, MO; Sister, Lindsey Haw of Dexter, MO; Brother, Carson Richmond of Wappapello, MO; Brother, Hunter Richmond of Wappapello, MO; Grandmother, Judy Fernandes of Del Rio, TN; Grandmother, Carolyn Martin of Malden, MO; Aunt, Nina (Brandon) Walker of Del Rio, TN; Aunt, Brandie Fernandes of Del Rio, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 2:00pm from Grace Fellowship Church with Pastor Kevin Corley officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
