Betty Joe (Lockhart) Shuler

BETTY JOE (LOCKHART) SHULER, age 75 of Clanton, passed away on January 12, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She was born in Chilton County on March 3, 1946; the daughter of the late Leon Lockhart and the late Bertha Margaret Gore Lockhart.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by: Son, Daniel Shuler of Clanton; Grandchildren: Zachary Shuler, Dylan Shuler, Misty Harris, Carlie Shuler, Caleb Morris, and Chloe Shuler; Great Grandchildren: Zoey Birch, Carson Kent Birch, and one on the way; Brother, Earl Lockhart of Clanton; Sister, Jean Wallace of Deatsville; and a host of other relatives.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, J.W. Shuler; Son, Carl Wesley Shuler; Son, Phillip Kent Shuler; Parents, Leon and Bertha Lockhart; and Brother, Kenneth Thurl Lockhart.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 3:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Thurmond Cleckler officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton, AL.
