Billy Joe Caton

BILLY JOE CATON, age 82 of Jemison, passed away on June 22, 2020 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. He was born in Thorsby, AL on July 31, 1937; the son of the late Lloyd Caton and the late Geneva Robinson Caton.

He was a former truck driver. He was a member of Cedar Grove Methodist Protestant Church in Thorsby, where he served as a deacon.

He is survived by: Daughter, Mickie Behrens of Jemison; Daughter, Gaile Caton of Cleveland, GA; Grandson, Chris Johnson of Cleveland, GA; Granddaughter, Dawn Bowman of Enterprise; Grandson, Brandon Behrens of NY; Grandson, Jeread Grizzle of Cleveland, GA;  and Special Nieces, Brenda Manley of Whitehouse, TN and Vickie Edwards of Jemison.

He is preceded in death by: Wife, Donna Caton.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Jeff Carroll officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Methodist Protestant Cemetery in Thorsby, AL.
