Bobby Jack Foster

BOBBY JACK FOSTER, age 83 of Sylacauga, passed away on May 17, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Talladega, AL on February 14, 1939; the son of the late Benjamin Foster and the late Jewel McQue Foster.

Bobby was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Sylacauga. He loved the outdoors where he enjoyed coon hunting and going fishing with his beloved wife. He liked sports and was an avid University of Alabama Roll Tide fan. He will be best remembered for the love he had for his family.

He is survived by: Wife, Diana Foster of Sylacauga; Daughter, Terri (Curtis) Jackson of Helena; Daughter, Lisa (Doug) Thrash of Sylacauga; Son, John Foster of Evansville, IN; Son, Israel Fields of Sylacauga; Son, Brian (Candace) Fielders of Alexander City; 24 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; and Brother, Wayne (Earlene) Foster of Harpersville.

He is preceded in death by: Daughter, Angie Wood; Son, David Fields; Grandson, Alex Thrash; Great Grandson, Haigen Thrash; Parents, Benjamin and Jewel Foster; and Stepfather, James LePoidevant.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 11:00am from the First Freewill Baptist Church of Sylacauga with Rev. Mike Dankson and Rev. Wayne McDaniel.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Greenhill Memorial Gardens in Childersburg, AL.
