BOBBY WILBURN WILKINS, age 77 of Jemison, passed away on January 23, 2021 at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery, AL. He was born in Chilton County on September 30, 1943; the son of the late H.G. Wilkins and the late Maryl Agnes Cobb Wilkins.
He was a former truck driver. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
He is survived by: Wife, Chieko Wilkins of Jemison; Brothers: Jimmy (Winnoah) Wilkins, Larry (Katie) Wilkins, and Frank (Dianne) Wilkins; Sisters: Melba Rollins, Sarah Brand, and Edith (Richard) Hughes; and Sister-in-Law, Yoshiko Hareyama.
He is preceded in death by: Son, Ken Wilkins; Son, Bobby Wayne Wilkins; Parents, Harvey and Meryl Wilkins; and Sisters: Betty Collins, Francis Partridge, and Martha Cleckley.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 11:00am from the Center Hill Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will follow in the Center Hill Baptist Cemetery in Jemison, AL.
The family request no flowers, but encourage memorials be made to The Gideons International for the purchase of Bibles.
