Brenda Gail (Ellison) Dean

BRENDA GAIL (ELLISON) DEAN, age 72 of Jemison, passed away suddenly on March 14, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Chilton County on December 8, 1950; the daughter of the late Grady C. Ellison and the late Dethel Brown Ellison.

She was a custodian at the University of Montevallo. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by: Husband, Raymond Dean of Jemison; Son, Timothy Wilson of Jemison; Son, Wayne Wilson of Jemison; Daughter, Brenna Wilson of Jemison; Son, Shawn Wilson of Jemison; 8 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; and Brother, Benny Lee Ellison of Jemison.

She is preceded in death by: Son, Christopher Wade Wilson; Great Grandson, Trenton Wilson; Parents, Grady and Dethel Ellison; Brother, Harold Simmons; and Sister, Barbara Wilson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 5-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 2:00pm in the New Hope Cemetery in Jemison, AL with Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.
