Brenda Gayle (Edwards) Lollar

BRENDA GAYLE (EDWARDS) LOLLAR, age 65 of Clanton, passed away on September 1, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Chilton County on May 16, 1960; the daughter of the late Roland "Pete" Edwards and the late Margaret Sue Lett..

She was a homemaker. She enjoyed sitting on her porch and watching her hummingbirds.

She is survived by: Daughter, SeLena (Carey) Phillips of Equality; 2 Grandsons; Brother, Charles "Bo" (Darlene) Lett of Clanton; Cousins, Charlene (Wade) Sheilds of Clanton and Sidney Walker of Verbena; and a host of other nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, Jim Lollar; Stepson, Paul Lollar; Stepdaughter, Rebecca Lewis; Father, Pete Edwards; Mother, Margaret Sue Lett; Grandmother, Lena Mae Cleckler; Brothers: Kennie Ray Edwards, Virgil Cleckler, Harvey Cleckler, Jr., and Douglas Cleckler; and Sister, Linda Walker.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Kelley officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
