Brian Joseph Murphy

BRIAN JOSEPH MURPHY, age 51 of Marbury, passed away suddenly on September 18, 2025 at UAB St. Vincent Chilton Hospital in Clanton, AL. He was born in Clanton, AL on April 5, 1974; the son of the late Richie Murphy and Karen Rice Milton.

He worked in the log woods as a skidder operator.

He is survived by: Son, Jacob Silas of Deatsville; Daughter, Ashlyn Ritchie of San Antonio, TX; Mother, Karen Milton of Prattville; and Sisters: Jamie Dennis of Marbury, Denae Deason of Prattville, and Raven Murphy of Fayetteville, NC.

He is preceded in death by: Father, Richie Murphy.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Green officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton, AL.
