CANDICE NICOLE MORROW, of Jemison, Alabama, passed away on May 13, 2025, at Baptist Health Shelby Hospital in Alabaster, Alabama, at the age of 31.
She was born on September 5, 1993 in Houston, Texas, the cherished daughter of Jason B. Morrow and Michelle Sumerall.
Candice was full of life, good-spirited, protective, loving, and beautiful, with a spark that made her unforgettable. She had the best kind of crazy—the fun, fearless, and fiercely loyal kind. Her energy and laughter lit up every room, and her presence made people feel at home.
A kid at heart, Candice had a special way with children. She loved spending time with her daughter, nieces, and nephews—playing, laughing, and creating memories that will live on in their hearts. She loved to dance and sing, even if she joked that singing wasn’t her strong suit—she did it with joy, and that’s what mattered most.
She also appreciated the calm of an occasional fishing trip, enjoying the peacefulness of the water and the time spent in nature.
Candice is survived by her beloved daughter, Chloe Baker; her father, Jason Morrow; her mother, Michelle Sumerall; her sisters, Kaly Morrow, Courtnie Busby, Haylee Morrow, and Makayla Morrow; her brothers, Jason Morrow and Asher Barrett; and her grandmother, Cheryl Bailey.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in the Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery in Thorsby, Alabama.
Candice’s warmth, humor, and unshakable love for her family will never be forgotten. Her spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Final care and arrangements entrusted to the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home of Clanton, AL.
