Carl Lawrence Wilson

CARL LAWRENCE WILSON, age 77 of Clanton, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020.  He was born on December 25, 1942 in Harrison, Michigan; the son of the late Lloyd Francis Wilson and the late Edith Merritt Wilson.

He was a former brick mason in Indiana. He was also an Army Veteran where he served his country in Vietnam.

He is survived by: Wife, Shirley Faye Wilson of Clanton; Daughter, Penny (Mark) Malott of Michigan; Son, Ernest Wilson of Florida; Son, David (Christeen) of Indiana; Son, Christopher Wilson of Alabama; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; Stepdaughter, Evelyn Rena Harris of Clanton; Stepson, Rex Reed Harris of Clanton; Sister, Elva Cohee of Michigan and Sister, Elsies Daniels of Michigan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Francis Wilson and Edith Merritt Wilson; Brothers, James Wilson, Neil Wilson, Luverne (Lee) Wilson,  Ernie Wilson and Sister, Nora Giddens.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton, Al.

 The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Burial will follow in the Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
